The Ministry of Health is pleased to bring the online FluTracking initiative to Aotearoa New Zealand for the second year, tracking the flu so we can help you.
FluTrackers are emailed a questionnaire each week that takes less than 10 seconds to complete, asking whether they’ve had a cough or fever during the past week. Becoming a FluTracker is quick and easy – just head to the FluTracking website.
The Ministry can use FluTracking’s insights, as well as those gained from other flu surveillance programmes, to find out where flu hotspots are and direct resources such as vaccinations to the areas where they’re needed most. This is shown on an interactive map that can be accessed by anyone on FluTracking’s website.
