APEX represents Clinical Physiologists employed by both Te Whatu Ora and those employed in private practice as well. Improvements gained in the most recent Clinical Physiology Agreement included:
- Removing the Merit cap for renal physiologists
- Nailing Advanced Practice for Technicians
- Increasing the traveling clinic allowance to $75.00/day
- Improvement to pay for remote phone/computer work
- Better access to time off for fatigue
- Attention to working in an isolated environment at night.
